My advice is make sure this is what you want to do. The application process is really expensive and bizare. Studying every day, trying to beat everyone and get A's was sucking my life away. The MCAT was the single most emasculating experience of my life. 80% of all premeds are snotty bitches who need a swift backhand across the mandible.
I applied the year after I graduated but liked having a real life so much I changed my mind about the whole thing and now I am much happier. Be honest with yourself about why you want to be a doctor. Don't do it for the ego and don't do it for the money. Don't rely on reason to lead you into the future...follow your heart.
