Summary of Application Experience
I applied in late September to 8 of the schools.
I ended up withdrawing from Michigan State because of their out of state tuition costs.
After receiving 4 interviews and 3 waitlists so far (still waiting on Touro-NY), I became worried and applied to more schools in late December.
I sent in my Arizona application.
Just received another waitlist from Touro-NY.
Just got taken off of the DMU waitlist!!!!!!!!
Got into my top choice - Des Moines University. I'm still waiting on Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine as it is close to home, and I don't wanna go to Des Moines without fully making sure it is the right choice. Therefore, I gotta give my state school a chance still. I still am waiting on Philadelphia and Arizona as well, but I doubt I would attend either school. Touro-Ca's location was really nice, but the school just seemed to basic and without nice facilities. Touro-NY was really nice, but I do not want to deal with the cost of living and lack of a car in New York. So basically it comes down to Des Moines or CCOM for me. I hope I am making the right decision in whatever I end up choosing.
