I completed re-visits at Vanderbilt, Harvard, Hopkins, and Stanford. And I have made my decision, with great difficulty, but also incredible peace of mind. Some may find it odd, but I don't roll by popular social norms and values. My decision is the right one from my perspective and possibly my perspective alone. But here are a few of the hightlights:
* My older sister lives 4 hours away in Maryville, TN * Resources of a full undergraduate/graduate campus - i.e. Athletics, Mentoring, Inter-departmental Interaction * New Curriculum and Pre-clinical Training Facilities * I meshed very well with my prospective future classmates * Incredible Administrative Support * Humbling Scholarship Offer * Low Cost of Living and Relatively Affordable Apartment Housing * Southern Hospitality * Opportunities for religious expression * Music venues and performances of all genres * Nashville is a surprisingly beautiful, increasingly progressive, and entertaining city.
