Brief Profile:
2 years molecular biology research with presentations at regional and international conferences, 4 years Choir, Biology club, volunteering in emergency room 4 hrs./week for 2 summers, singing with the college jazz bands, volunteering at a food shelf, Katrina relief work, shadowing doctors, guitar hero : ) (don't worry, I didn't put that on my application), I'm doing a solid month of physician shadowing in a hospital this January, etc.
I curse my freshman year for bringing my GPA down. I started out at Washington University in St. Louis, where I got a 3.27 BCPM and a 3.44 total. Since transferring, My BCPM has averaged 3.84 and my total GPA is 3.83. Hopefully med schools will excuse my first year because of the drastic upward trend!
