My AACOMAS application was complete as of 9/7. I am awaiting verification anxiously... it is torture to watch everyone getting their interviews/acceptances already, but I had to wait for summer grades to submit my application.
10/9 - I was verified 10/1 and sent 10/7. To my surprise I got the CCOM and LECOM secondaries Tuesday morning by email! Will have the CCOM sent out Wed and LECOM on Thursday probably!
11/8 - Ok, I submitted most of my secondaries. Still working on AZCOM, AT Still, and NSU. However, I am still waiting on LOR's! They all should be done this week, then they need to be sent to schools. I'm really hoping to hear something this month, and really hoping for interviews before the end of the year!
12/17 - Yay!! My first interview invite! LECOM-Erie. I wasn't expecting anything yet because I am still waiting on my DO LOR! Anyways, not my first choice school, but I am excited to go and learn more about their program. Someone may want me!
1/7/08 - So, after a long wait, my DO LOR was finally sent out. Apparently he thought it had to be in by March. He didn't really understand that it is sort of a first come first served game (he's a bit older so I don't know what the process was back when he was applying). Anyways, I'll finally be able to get the ball rolling. I'm sending a letter of intent to CCOM next week (after they get my LOR) so hopefully they will take my app more seriously. I'm going for my interview at LECOM-Erie next week, should be a good experience. I'll update after that interview.
1/30/08 - So, my LECOM-Erie interview went well, they just got my LORs this week, so I'll hear back in the next week or two depending if I made it to this weeks review or not. Got the call from Bradenton today for an interview on 2/22, and emails that I am now complete at a bunch of other schools. However, I checked my interact now for CCOM and even though my DO and committee letters were sent together they do not show that they got my DO letter, so I emailed them to see what's up. Hoping to get some more interviews coming here!
2/11 - Well, got a letter for the alternate list at LECOM-Erie today, and even though I don't think I'd go there I'm still a little bummed. I don't even think that I'll take the spot on the list. I just wanted an acceptance somewhere. I still have LECOM-B next week, so hopefully that one will go better. After all of that LOR stuff, it was finally sent out and received at the end of JAN. CCOM had some problem with the format in which my school sent it, so I had to resend the DO letter, and was just finally complete on 2/6. I have no idea how long it's going to take to hear back from them, but I really hope that it's soon. We have to start thinking about selling our house if I don't get into CCOM, and I really don't want to do all of that!
Anyways, having a crappy day today, so I think I'm going to go play my DS for a while before my next class starts.
2/25/08 - Just got back from Bradenton and loved the school, hoping that I get in there, and would quickly accept an offer to attend. Got a rejection from UNECOM, no problem as my husband said he wouldn't move there anyways. No news from the others, but it has just been a few weeks since I was complete.
2/26/08 - Wow! I did not expect at all to get a call, but I was accepted today to LECOM-B, and we're movin' to florida! Soooo excited about this. I'm really going to be a doctor!
3/6/08 - Well, got a call for an interview tomorrow at CCOM. Previously was my first choice, so lets see if an interview will put it back at the top of my list. Still no word from PCOM or DMU, although I'm really no interested in DMU any longer, and I'm not sure about PCOM either.
4/5/08 - Got the letter for the alternate list at CCOM today. Will withdraw on Monday. No way that I can keep my life in limbo while they were to decide if they have a spot for me. I'm glad that it was not an acceptance though because my husband already got a job in FL this week, and is going next week. So, it was already decided, and I LOVE Bradenton, so this is going to be a good fall!
