Summary of Application Experience
This is my second time around. Last year I had applied with an MCAT score of 23R, this time it's better. I'm one of those people who feels she is forever branded with the scarlet letters: GPA! I'm trying to stay as optimistic as possible..and applying to 45 schools helps me stay hopeful...and broke!
Submitted AMCAS: July; today 8/4/07 - still being reviewed! (stupid transcripts...) - waiting for secondaries
8/16/07 - AMCAS processing finally complete!!! Here they come... and there my $$$ goes!
8/17/07 - My first interview invitation!!! Woohoo! Nova Southeastern University
8/26/06 - Invitation Invite #2!!!! Now if I could only hear back from my top choice schools....
- Two more D.O. apps to go (still considering whether or not to complete them) - SEVERAL M.D. apps to do... for some reason, I'm just not motivated to do these ones...
9/3/07 - Invitation Invite #3!! KCOM.. kinda hard to get to though.. inconvenient location =/
9/5/07 - Invitation Invite #4!!!! Top choice school woohoo!
I'm holding on doing any more apps at this point.. I've spent enough money, and I still have 16 schools to hear from!
9/10/07 - Interview Invite #5!!! LECOM-Bradenton
10/3/07 - Interview Invite #6! OSU-COM
Well... I've had 3 interviews so far, two of them felt good, one was the weirdest I've ever experienced. If anyone is wondering what a bad interview feels like from someone who can socially function, PM on SDN (cabound)!! haha...
Waiting now to hear back from other schools!!!! Come on Western...give me a chance!!!!!!!!!!!
10/9/07 - MY FIRST ACCEPTANCE!!! I'm going to be a doctor!!!!
I'm excited about my Touro University interview - it's my top choice school, and I realllllllly wanna get in..
10/19/07 - Ok, a lot has happened, but as of today.........
I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO TOURO-CA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Belated Birthday to meeeeeeeeeeee!!!! (it was yesterday)
