Summary of Application Experience
Don't get bogged down in ECs and marks. My marks were good, but nothing exceptional. My EC list was not long (I think I filled in 15 of the 48 spots on the OMSAS application for ECs). Just make sure that you can talk about what ECs you do have in the essay and interview, why you did them (there was a specific reason why I did each item on my EC list, and no, it wasn't so that i could get into med school) and what you've learned from them.
Of the 3 schools I interviewed at, I definitely thought Queen's was the most relaxed. The interview was more conversation than interview, whereas Western and Manitoba had their preset questions to ask.
