Summary of Application Experience
Appyling to med school is not as scary as people make it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it takes a lot of work to get in. But, if you don't have at least a 30 on your MCAT or a 4.0 don't be discouraged. I didn't have those scores but still interviewed at many of the UCs among other schools and got accepted to three schools. If you don't have the scores just make sure that you are able to get across your passion for medicine with your personal statement and secondaries. Overall, I thought the interviews were a lot of fun. When else do u get to travel to random places across the U.S.!! Once again, interviews are not that scary. At least that was my experience. Just try to relax and you will do fine. One piece of advice: when interviewing if u have the opportunity to stay with a current med student go for it. They are the ones currently enrolled at the school and can give you the most info about the school and advice for interview day. Good luck :)
