    Summary of Application Experience

My pre-med advisor advised me to apply early - so I did. I got everything into AMCAS by June 5, and my file was complete on June 16. I also got all my LOR's in to my pre-med department by June as well, was good as I decided to apply through TMDSAS in June, and I got my pre-med department to send these letters over. Filled out my first two secondaries yesterday - Baylor & Tulane, and working on the one for Florida State today. If you do TMDSAS, you do secondaries for UT Southwestern, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech at the same time.

MCATs - 32S - yaaaay!!! Got a 9 on VR - go figure. I was pretty happy with my MCAT score. The S surprised me - I hadn't written a real essay in about thre years.

Anyways its June 23, and I'm waiting on secondaries......twiddling thumbs here........

6/25 - filled out secondaries Baylor, FSU, Tulane
6/26 - University of Wisconsin, Washington University in St. Louis

8/6 - duke sent secondary - too jaded to care, when will this be over????
8/31 - UTMB interview - not too difficult - curriculum and pass rates are awesome. Looks like a great place to study - Galveston seems nice to live.
9/25 - interviews at USF, FSU, U of Wisconsin
10/5 - interview at U of Wisconsin - real nice people, brand new $50 million med school, cleanest city I've ever seen.
11/16 - interview at FSU - really relaxed setup. Up and coming med school - high tech, but no hospital attached. Still havent heard back from anyone. FSU promises word in two weeks....
11/27 - rejected by FSU - go figure
11/30 - interviewed at UF - nice clean med school, great attached hospitals, seems nice. Interviews really relaxed and non-stressful.
