May 21-acceptance to Wake Forest SOM

May 11- wrote another update letter to Wake Forest SOM

April-May- received all my rejections from schools that I never hear from for interviews ( found out after 5 months that I was rejected from my state school)

Dec 27-Jan 4- Gone off to Europe to forget about this whole process

December 15- Wake Forest interview, really love the environment and people there.

December 10- accepted to Drexel (very quick turn around). I really enjoyed my interview there. I think I could see myself there but tuition is kind of expensive and not close to the actual teaching hospital.

Nov- 21 my UW interview

Nov 17- my first acceptance to Medical College of Wisconsin, I am going to become a doctor. So very surprised to hear back and not have to worry about reapplying for next cycle. What a relief. They said the responce will take two weeks. Met some people there that I would hang out with again. I really like the Hospital because they are all connected to the main school campus.

Nov- 3 Interview at MCW waiting for any news.

Oct-18 Georgetown Interview, very nice place and people I stayed with were so friendly to me. I think we spoiled each other. (very quick turn around for interview offer)

Oct 10-Mayo phone itnerview (I can't believe this, wow)

mid- sept - finally turned in my last secondary (don't do this so late, I just couldn't press the send button)

July 14- turned in my Amcas for the schools just waiting for secondaries to come.

NOTE: I would say that anything can happen, don't give up hope, I had to take the MCAT twice but it's not the end of the world for me, I got to travel and this past year fly to places I never thought I would ever go to. Keep a open mind and heart. You never know what will surprise you and don't give up if you have a dream of becoming a doctor because I never did no matter what other people tell you. You know what you are capable of. Some people call this a crapshoot and I would like to call this hard work. Think how you may but when it come down to you, you will find what is the best for you in the end of all this. Is it worth the filling out all the mound of paper work, YES!!! It is worth the time and money, for me, it is.
