    ------------------------

5/1/07 Started filling out the ol' AMCAS.

    5/9/07 Transcripts have been requested.

5/16/07 Took the MCAT...awaiting the news

5/19/07 Finished AMCAS except for personal statement.

5/19/07 Cheated the MDapplicants.com system by inputting a '-' for each of my MCAT score components. How long until my profile is removed? Only time will tell.

6/10/07 I think I'm happy with my AMCAS at this point so I'm just waiting for my scores and then I'm submitting.

6/15/07 Got my MCAT scores back today. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised about the BS, which I thought I bombed, and am not so pleasantly surprised with the PS which I thought I did alright on. Oh well, I hit a 30 and I'm satisfied. Also, the R on the WS is quite nice too even though supposedly nobody cares.

6/16/07 Submitted AMCAS. Now we play the waiting game.

6/20/07 AMCAS verified. More waiting game.

6/22/07 Hooray for secondaries! Got two of them today...GW and USUHS. JHU too, but it's just waiting online for anyone to fill out.

    6/28/07 Secondary from JMC. Woot.

6/29/07 Pitt-uh-pitt-uh-pitt-uh-pitt, got some stuff from Pitt!

7/2/07 George, george, george of the GEORGETOWN!

    7/11/07 VCU...Wah-shooo!!

7/12/07 To the North! To the South! To the West! To the EASTern Virginia!!

    7/13/07 Penn!

    7/16/07 UVA Hooray!!! Temple Hoo.....remple?

    7/17/07 Penn State, yeah! Wake!

7/24/07 Letters FINALLY posted to VirtualEvals! Oh, and I got a secondary from Maryland.

    8/2/07 Finally Duke...boy they've got a long one.

8/3/07 Okay, I got Drexel. Now all that's left is UNC. Though they've been known to utilize the silent treatment.

8/10/07 My first interview invite at VCU!!! Awesome.

    8/14/07 Interview numero dos. EVMS.

    8/22/07 Penn State. Numero tres.

9/6/07 It felt like forever, but I've finally gotten interview #4....Drexel!

9/7/07 My first rejection (Georgetown). It stings a little, but it was never that high on my list.

9/17/07 My VCU interview was AMAZING! My interviewer and I seemed to have very similar personalities and I think we really connected. Hoping for the best, because I'd be thrilled to attend!

    9/19/07 Temple interview! #5!!

9/21/07 EVMS was fun. The interview wasn't nearly as bad as everyone says/thinks it is. Since they don't have their own hospital, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are two major hospitals right by the med school. It gives the school the 'campus feel' that I thought would be lacking. Overall, EVMS exceeded my expectations.

9/24/07 I really liked Penn State. They have great facilities, a great curriculum, and friendly people. The only downsides I can see are the fact that the school's in the middle of nowhere, and there aren't many things to do outside of class (stemming from being in the middle of nowhere, of course).

9/28/07 Got an email from GW saying I'm on hold. It almost seems like it would have been better to just get the rejection and be done with it. Oh well.

10/2/07. Busy weekend/weekstart. Drexel was pretty good. I wasn't super impressed with the facilities or admissions staff, but my student interviewer was great. Temple was alright too. The students were all very welcoming and I had a good time chatting with my fellow interviewees. On a lower note, I got another hold notice. This one from Maryland.

10/10/07 Decided to call EVMS today to find out if any decisions had been made and...I'm on the waitlist. Stinky.

    10/19/07 Waitlist at Temple too.

10/25/07 More waitlists....Drexel and Penn State.

    10/29/07 Rejection from Pitt. Sad.

11/28/07 Checked my Duke status...they don't want to give me an interview. Rejection #3.

    12/9/07 GW rejection.

    1/14/08 Maryland rejection.

    1/25/08 UVA rejection.

    2/5/08 UNC rejection.

    2/?/08 Penn rejection.

    2/26/08 Wake Forest rejection.

    3/17/08 VCU waitlist.

    4/15/08 JHU rejection.

    5/3/08 Jefferson rejection.

7/16/08 Accepted at Drexel! Barring a miracle with VCU, this is where I'll be heading. Excited!
