Brief Profile:
Public Health Major, Community College Transfer, 1st-gen college grad, a bit non-traditional pre-med student (consistently worked almost full time during undergrad & did not do research), 1 gap year. Lots of leadership experience and ECs that focused on the pediatric population and underserved community.
Applied to 40 schools, received 38 secondaries, but decided to only submit 32 of them (I shouldve done better in choosing schools, but. I dont regret applying to 30+ schools, other than the expense of doing so).
Getting accepted into medical school is a crazy process from beginning to end. I didnt have any personal connections to previous pre-med students or medical school applicants but figured it all out so please DM me if you have any questions!
