Summary of Application Experience
I wish I would have had more time to study for the MCAT. Took 3 summer courses (including Orgo) while taking the MCAT. Don't repeat my mistake, I was too cocky thinking I could handle it.
Submitted AMCAS: Early August
Submitted Secondaries: Late September to early November
Interviews at Harvard and GW went very well. The Dean of Admissions at GW actually told me that he thought I'd be a great fit for their school.
Interview at Yale was borderline catastrophic. I got waitlisted, go figure. The school itself was very impressive. The facilities are state of the art and the students all down to earth.
The UFT interview was by far the toughest, but I came out confident. The experience from the other interviews sure helped.
