During my undergraduate years I really had no direction and it showed. I graduated 10 years ago with a 2.53. I spend the next 10 years of my life working in my field and excelling.
I then went back to school for a Masters in Science in Biology after not really knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I was thinking about advertising and then getting an MBA and then not doing anything at all. I was doing everything I can to avoid taking the GRE because I was not confident in myself. I started graduate school as a non matriculated student and had a 4.0. I had enough confidence in order to take the GRE and scored very high. I was admitted to graduate school and worked full time at the same time. After 5 years of working very hard I am about to graduate with a 3.78 GPA.
when I took the MCAT in August of 2005 I did not score too well but then again I had to relearn the material from 10 years prior. Then seven months later, after hard work and focus I went up 7 points and did well. All this while raising a family and working full time.
If you work hard enough and focus on your goals, you can do anything,
