Summary of Application Experience
Update: Major bummer, got waitlisted at Maryland. Put in the bottom half of a 175 person waitlist for a class that already oversubscribed. Last year they did the same thing and were sweating bullets when *no one* decided to withdraw their acceptances. Yeah, chances have gone down to very slim.
Update: Application for maryland placed aside until further review. I hear that status is 'better' than waitlisting, although the result is ultimately the same.
Update: Accepted to Drexel!!! It's a great school and I would love to go there.
Update: Waitlisted at GW. boo.
Update: Received interview invites from Drexel and Univ. of Maryland in Feburary. yay!
I was complete at schools in October-November. I've just had the one interview at GW and 2 rejections (Mayo and Georgetown).
I'm still waiting to hear back from the rest.
Yale, Mt. Sinai, Weil, JHU, GW, UMD, NYU, Albert Einstein, Virginia Commonwealth, Drexel, Temple and Jefferson.
Is is common to wait so long to hear anything from schools? Should I be calling/sending letters to see what's up and increase my chances? Any advice would be appreciated.
