NOTE: I never did anything just to get in to medical school. I think my LORs and accomplishments reflect that. My advice, follow your passion and they'll lead you to your passion. Punto. The paper/power chase is a waste of your time, and likely, someone else's too. But on that note, don't be a truant as badly as I was. But on that note, my truancy led to fabulous opportunities that I think showed commitment and hard work equally to what a good GPA would have.

Summary of Application Experience
So I've done good. Better than I could have ever imagined. In retrospect, I wish I'd only applied to CA schools. It's really the only place I want to be. Life is looking good for the next 4 years :).
