Wow!!! Cant believe I am finally applying and making one of these. I really appreciated reading through the more complete applicant profiles on here, so I will try to pay it forward by filling this out. Applying MD/PhD this cycle and crossing my fingers that it goes well with all the craziness of COVID/virtual interviews!

09/10/20: Im so excited to have gotten several interviews at some really great schools! Looking forward to interviews and talking with folks on the trail!

10/02/20: Okay interviewing has been really fun! I love meeting the other applicants (even if it is somewhat weird to do so virtually) and have been SO lucky to get these interviews. Kinda hard to evaluate how I fit at different institutions through Zoom but that might have to be a later problem lol

11/06/20: AHHHH First Acceptance at Iowa! Im super honored to have been selected and so glad to have an earlier acceptance so I can relax a bit. Loved Iowa and think it would be a solid fit so now Im hoping to just enjoy the ride!

01/13/21: Accepted at Northwestern! I absolutely loved this program and felt like its a really great personality/research fit. Ive been shocked to receive some pretty crazy interviews these last few months and am absolutely stoked for second look at this school :)

3/4/21: Still so grateful for how this cycle has turned out. Waiting on a few more decisions, but after a bit of disappointment from Harvard and a couple waitlists Im looking forward to second looks at WashU and NW!

5/6/21: This cycle went so long, and Im so glad to finally be at the end. After getting off the waitlist, I committed to Hopkins (though was a really tough decision between there and WashU). To anyone reading this in the future, remember that this is truly a marathon and pace yourself along the way. Waitlists and decisions can be terrifying, but remember that youve worked hard and earned it. Sending positive vibes :)
