Applied mid-July after rewriting my personal statement from scratch starting in the month of June. Applied early-decision for Quillen College of Medicine. Got my secondaries from them on July 31st, 2019 which was a series of short answer questions focused around rural health and primary care. Quillen also required results of a CASPER exam. Due to a death in the family on the day I got my secondary, I was unable to complete all the requirements until late August and my CASPER test did not get scored until September 3rd... Nevertheless, I received an interview invitation the next day, and I interviewed on September, 19th. Their interview day consisted of several informational meetings and a tour of the campus and nearby hospital. It ended with two separate interviews which the focus was on getting to know me as a person and my inner thought processes for not only why I chose to apply to medical school but also why I chose my extracurriculars. They were both very friendly and conversational interviews, and I felt a great deal of my stress alleviate during them. I received my acceptance on September 26th, 2019.
