I feel so lucky to have been accepted so early in the application process and at one of my top choices too!!! 10/27/06: Life gets complicated! I got a letter in inviting me to interview at NYCOM! Panic! I love DCOM and want to go there, but am afraid something will happen and it won't start. I don't know what to do now...Tenatively scheduled interview for 11/30 at NYCOM and will decide in the next few weeks. 11/21/06: Invited to interview at Pikeville. I will be driving down to NYCOM and then from there on to Kentucky. 11/27/06: Rescheduled NYCOM to 12/7 due to a conflict with orgo lab. They were really understanding. 12/2/06: Interview at PCSOM 12/4/06: Phone call from Dean at PCSOM. They accepted a 'yankee', LOL!!! 12/7/06: Interview at NYCOM. I really liked the school, but I can't afford to go there. REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!
Allopathic Schools I don't have the exact dates, but they were similar to the AACOMAS application timeline because I submitted them both around the same time. I initially just applied to schools in the northeast due to the distance from where I live, but at a later date added UVA and East Tennessee because I had decided that I wanted to practice rural family medicine in the south.
