I am defiantely an underdog. I applied fully expecting to have to reapply. Much to my surprise I have been accepted! I just wanted to do this page to prove that you don't have to have a 4.0 and 40 MCAT to go to medical school. At my interview the very first comment I got was 'WOW, I am very impressed with your clinical expereince'. Make sure you have a very round application with other stuff on it besides scores. Some schools really do value that.
2/2/07 I finally decided o send VCOM my fall grades. I made the dean's list again, I just couldn't decided if I would go there over WVSOM if I got in. I decided to send the stuff because it would be nice to do rotations around VCOM's campus and since I have children I would be almost gauranteed to get rotations in the area. As well, my husband may want to go back to college.
2/17/06 I finally got the green light to send VCOM my secondary. Hopefully it is not to late to interview. My ugrad GPA is up over 3.2 for both science and regular, here's to holding hope for the upward trend :)
