9/20/2006 Finally submitted my last MD secondary. Let the waiting begin.
10/6/2006 First 'official' post-secondary rejection (University of SD did not accept me as a 'strong ties' candidate...therefore not directly based on my merit). Urgh. Why do I feel like UChicago did not even read the 8000+ characters of essays they requested on their beast of a secondary? Grrrr.
10/16/2006 FIRST INTERVIEW!! UVM is a top choice so this is very exciting!
10/19/2006 BU rejection.
11/10/2006 BU was not my last rejection. I am not going to continue listing them...just know that it ain't all peaches n' cream.
11/30/2006 Unseasonably warm in Burlington. Interview done - now it is out of my hands.
12/21/2006 INTERVIEW! Touro invitation arrived by mail. Feels good to feel a little love.
1/4/2007 INTERVIEW! Tulane is extending an olive branch...Lots of love. Nice to have a couple more interviews on the docket.
1/24/2007 INTERVIEW! UNE invitation arrived by email. February looks to be busy.
1/29/2007 Unseasonably cold in New Orleans (strange weather) - happy with the interview and should hear from Tulane in 2-3 weeks.
2/22/2007 UNECOM interview went well. I love Maine.
2/23/2007 INTERVIEW! NYCOM invitation arrived by snail mail.
2/24/2007 INTERVIEW! WUCOMP invitation arrived by email.
2/26/2007 INTERVIEW! MSUCHM invitation arrived by email. When it rains, it pours. Nice to have another MD interview.
3/2/2007 ACCEPTANCE! 3 days after my interview at TUCOM.
3/13/2007 ACCEPTANCE! Got a letter from UNECOM...nice to have options.
5/15/2007 ACCEPTANCE! Got a great phonecall from admissions at MSU (MD)...So happy. Now it is between Lansing and Burlington.
5/18/2007 UVM online update now indicates that I am in the 'top third' of the waitlist. Fingers crossed...
