    Summary of Application Experience

Anybody esle interviewing at UF on March 2nd? I applied Dec 1st so I was super stoked when I found out i had an interview! I'm thinking the best I can hope for is just to get waitlisted though...

    AMCAS Processed- August 4, 2006
    TMDSAS Processed- August 23, 2006

Johns Hopkins File Complete- August 15, 2006
Offered an Interview- September 4, 2006- THIS IS MY DREAM SCHOOL :)
Interview Date: Septmber 28, 2006!!! Yay! I owe all the credit to God who definitely made this possible!!!

I have a different experience than most people because I already have a spot at USF's medical school thanks to the 7/8 Year medical honors program. It's really nice but the program is a lot more work than your typical major!! I decided even still to enter the application process. I am now considering MD/PHD at a couple schools as well. I am loving the whole process though! It really teaches you about why you want to be a doctor and why you want to go to medical school so badly! This really is all that I have ever dreamt of :).

I took my MCAT April 2006 and got what I wanted! I sent most of my secondaries in at the beginning of August. My file is complete at Baylor, Wake Forest, and Hopkins. The only secondaries I'm waiting for are Vanderbilt (but you only get a secondary if you get an interview) and University of Alabama. Has anyone gotten a secondary from UAB yet?
