Summary of Application Experience
I submitted the AACOMAS primary on 7/31, and it was mailed on 8/27. I am still awaiting secondaries.
I submitted the AMCAS primary on 8/3, and I am still waiting for it to be verified, thus the GPA's I have listed are my AACOMAS calculated GPA's. My AMCAS GPA will be lower due to the practice of repeated classes being averaged into the calculations.
I submitted the New York Medical College secondary on 8/7, and they received my letter of recommendation on 8/28. All they need is for AMCAS to send my primary to them.
I submitted Penn State's secondary.
I received a fast track interview invitation from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine on 8/31, and I also completed the secondary the same day. My interview will be held on 10/6.
AMCAS was finally processed on 9/14. 3.63 overall, and 3.49 BCPM GPA. Stupid Organic Chemistry. :(
I have decided to attend Western University of Health Sciences.
