    -Currently work full time as a medicinal chemist
    -worked 10 hrs. per week as a reference librarian assistant for freshamn-sr. years
    -gen chem TA 10 hours per week sr. year
    -internship doing medicinal chemistry jr.-sr. years, 15-20 hours per week during the school year, full time in the summers
    -roller hockey team
    -shadowed family physician for 40 hours
    -volunteer at local hospital in the ER/shadowing ER docs
    -democracy matters
    -volunteer at special olympics


    started off freshman year rough: 2.9 gpa first semester as a bio major, got a C in gen bio I. switched majors to math 2nd semester, and never was happier. after switching majors i started taking names and kicking ass and managed to graduate with a 3.71 overall and 3.85 BCPM. If you are reading this and you had a rough semester, all i have to say is don't give up. it happends to a lot of people.

    wow this process is rediculously expensive, especially when mom and dad stop paying for everything. studying for mcats and filling out all these applications is really hard while working full time since doing all this stuff for med school is like a 2nd job. i know i am taking a gamble applying now without having taken the mcat, but i will go where ever i am accepted since i am not getting any younger
