Summary of Experience:
Went into the interview thinking I would never go here because its so expensive. As a result I kind of botched the MMI. Later found out there are pretty generous scholarships for low-income students. Whoops.
Summary of Experience:
Incredible facilities. Their gym almost makes me want to go here above all else. Commitment to caring for the under/uninsured. Doesnt really feel like a school, just feels like a hospital with a few hallways dedicated to the school.
Summary of Experience:
Full tuition 4-year scholarship!!! Seems like a great school, albeit very new which is scary. Their care van program where medical students get assigned to a family and do home visits longitudinally with them sounds like an amazing opportunity. Clear emphasis on community care and serving South Florida populations.
Summary of Experience:
35K per year, total of 140K scholarship! Administration seems phenomenal and approachable. Has a similar vibe to Pritzker, but with a larger hospital. Seems like it has ample research opportunities, and impressive clinical opportunities. I got along very well with the students here.
Summary of Experience:
75% tuition scholarship, all 4 years. Floored by how caring and approachable everyone is. Seems very relaxed and student body seems fun and friendly. Very socially conscious.
Summary of Experience:
Nominated for Deans REACH Scholarship -- Over the moon about this one! The interview day felt a little cold and like the administration was aloof, but the school, resources, and curriculum all seem amazing! Having to finish with pre-clinicals in a single year sounds a little daunting though.
Summary of Experience:
15K per year -- Felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. I think I would feel very bored and isolated here since I am so used to large vibrant cities. Decided to withdraw as financial assistance was not great enough to justify going here over the other schools I was accepted to.
Summary of Experience:
Location is downright amazing, in the heart of downtown Chicago. Hospitals are beautiful and very thoughtfully designed. Faculty seemed friendly and approachable. Overly painful and frustratingly tedious financial aid application process. 120K Scholarship!
