4-12-07 Filled out all of my financial aid paperwork but won't receive packages until June. I have withdrawn from Rosalind Franklin and Ben Gurion.
2-3-07 I am trying to decide between MCW and NYMC. I filed my FAFSA a week ago.
1-1-07 I am thrilled that I am done with the application proccess. I have been accepted to multiple schools that I enjoy. I didn't get any interviews from any of the large ivy schools but that's okay because I think the schools I have been accepted to suit me much better. I wish everyone in this proccess the best.

10-14-06 I just finished a long weekend of interviews in New York. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from U of Rochester or Columbia so I may be back out here. I interviewed at NYMC. They have a beautiful anatomy lab with lot's of sunlight. My second interview was for Ben Gurion in Israel affliated with Columbia. I am very interested in international health and that school is well known for it and for their students placing into very competitive residencies. I'm hoping to hear from GWU and U of MN this week.

9-24-06 Had my interview at U of MN and it went very well. My interviewer was awesome and very laid back! He was an opthmologist and gave me advice on my eyes b/c I have an eye disease I was born with. Usually its not obvious but to an OP it is! U of MN is high on my list because its instate. I also love the flexible MD program. You pay tuition for 11 semesters and they freeze the tuition when you come in so you pay the same rate every year. I was the first regular pool applicant to be interviewed. It's a long wait till Oct 15th!
9-20-06 I can't believe all of these interviews! I hope I get into GWU because I really loved the school and all of the oppertunities for international health work.
8-16-06 Scheduled NYMC interview for OCT 12th. Also received invite from Ben Gurion to interview. They interview at Columbia. I am hoping they can be scheduled close together, if not NYMC will have to be rescheduled.
8-13-06 Cost of suit with jacket, skirt, pants, light blue button down shirt and shoes: $500.
7-29-06 AACOMAS is now processed so I should start receiving those secondaries soon. Still waiting for Emory and Drexel's secondary.
7-19-06 Super exited because yesterday I came home from work and I had an e-mail from GWU for an interview invite! Yeah! Someone likes me! Now, I can let everything shine through at my interview! Still waiting for AACOMAS...
7-14-06 Still waiting for AACOMAS to proccess. I was complete on 6/30. Got more secondaries. I'm really hoping for an interview at Ben Gurion. It's my first choice school.
7-5-06 Still waiting for one transcript for my AACOMAS to get proccessed. Found out that I'm complete for Ben Gurion and my application is being sent to the comittee for review.
6-29-06 I just sent my AMCAS and had it processed on 6/8/06. I am also applying to Ben Gurion in Beersheva, Israel. My application to Ben Gurion is complete except for my reccomendations (6/29).
6-22-06 Received my MCAT scores. Disappointed because I was getting 29-33 on the practice tests. I won't retake unless I don't get accepted this cycle.
