Osteopathic medicine is where I want to be but I applied to several allo schools. The ones in Georgia were because that is where my parents and siblings are and the ones in Illinois are because that is where my husband and children are. Debusk was added when it became available. I am really not sure why I decided to apply there, but I am glad I did. It is an amazing school. I am sure anyone who has been there will agree.
Dean Stowers called me to personally offer congratulations in the acceptance to DeBusk College of Medicine. They are truly the most friendly staff and faculty I have seen anywhere.
I interviewed at CCOM on 11/1. This school is great! The faculty and staff are nice. The students seem very happy and not too stressed. The clinical rotation sites are amazing. They said we should hear something around Thanksgiving.
It has been a tough decision. Both schools are great. I really love DCOM. The faculty and staff are super great. I believe that the school will be one of the best anywhere. CCOM has great rotation sites and a well established program. I live in Chicagoland now and this is where I have decided to stay.
