I applied rather late (the day before the deadline). And then decided it wasn't worth the time and money to complete the other secondaries because my chances would be slim and MN was my first choice. My interviewer was really friendly and made me comfortable. Also, I think my letters of rec and unique work experiece helped me out a great deal.
