Apply early. That really helped me. Don't give up based on a low mcat score. I was a bit worried about my verbal MCAT score, but if you go into the interview confident you'll be fine. Communicating well in an interview shows them a lot. Admissions committees look at individuals as a whole, not just at one single score. I'm living proof that a low verbal mcat can be offset by an otherwise very strong application. Best of luck!
I'll be attending my top choice, Uniformed Services University. I got into 3 of the 15 schools i initially applied to. Apply only to the schools you're truly interested in. It would've saved me $$$$$.
