Summary of Application Experience
I applied very early on (June-July) in the application process and had both of my acceptances by November. Still no word from NYCOM. I only applied to a few schools because my husband could only go to grad schools in certain areas, but I would STRONGLY recommend applying to more than this. I liked the location of Touro and the laid back environment in California. The only thing that sort of sucked was the gigantic deposit due (2K) within 2 weeks of acceptance, but it goes towards your tuition so in the end it's not a huge deal. I really feel that my GPA and extracurriculars made up for a subpar MCAT.
