ECs are very cookie cutter: - Research ~3000 hours under two PIs- no pubs, one presentation at undergrad symposium, couple of acknowledgements - Clinical volunteering and part time scribe ~500 hours - TA for undergrad classes ~2 years - Pharmacy Technician ~250 hours - Serving the disabled since 6th grade, many many hours (maybe this is my selling point)
I expected nothing going in this application cycle being a standard asian male from CA, but results are much better than what I could've ever imagined. In retrospect, I feel like the most important part of the application is your written application itself-- achievements mean nothing if they are incorrectly presented on paper. Make sure to sell yourself on your application, or you'll be one of the many 3.95+GPA 514+MCAT students applying a second cycle (I personally know 3 friends in this situation).
Not sure if this website has PM options, but feel free to message me if you have any questions.
