Summary of Application Experience
10/05 -So far, I've been lucky to receive 2 interview invites despite my low verbal score. Honestly, I never thought I would get an interview anywhere. So this is a pleasant surprise. :) 12/9 - Morehouse interview was today. I think it went well. My interview was very relaxed. Though I'm not sure whether I like Atlanta. I've lived on the East Coast my entire life and the South is just different...But, if that's the only place I get in, I guess I'll be movin' to 'Hotlanta'... 12/12 - Had my interview at UConn. I liked the feel of the campus. Students were friendly. Though one of my interviewers gave me a tough time on my interview especially about my MCAT score. What's up with that?? Though I knew it was coming. 12/13 - I received an interview from UPitt!!! 12/16 - UPitt was amazing! I love their simulation center and Pittsburgh doesn't seem too bad. The students at Pitt were friendly and don't seem stressed out like in undergrads. Also, I liked the fact that the interview is about getting to know you as a person rather than grilling you on aspects of your application. I really hope I get to go there in the fall. 1/3/06 - Received my Cornell rejection today...*sigh* I know there's more to come...and why haven't I heard from Harvard, Columbia, or Stanford...The least they could do is send me an email about my rejection... 1/5/06 - So far I've been pretty cool about the process, but the waiting is killing me. I can't take it anymore. I called the admission office twice at UPitt and UConn to check the status of my application...*sigh*...I hope they send me something soon...
