Summary of Application Experience
Waitlisted at both Louisiana schools last year and rejected at both in summertime.
Talked to both schools and they wanted more clinical experience. They both noted that I probably would have gotten in on a 'normal' year (said it was very competetive).
Took an EMT course, and now working as an ER tech at hospital in Baton Rouge.
Accepted into Shreveport 11/22....Yeah baby!!
Received an invite for an interview in New Orleans, I'm going to attend the interview, but unless I'm really impressed by them and confident in next year there, my allegiance probably still lies in Shreveport...We'll see
I had the interview, it went really well! I was accepted! I was impressed by what the school had to offer, but I don't know if I want to be in New Orleans. I have to let Shreveport know by April 15, so I don't have much time...
