June 17, 2005 - Application officially complete (including secondary)
October 28, 2005 - Got interview invite call from OSU-COM! Interview scheduled for November 16th. Hopefully, I'll know whether I am accepted by Thanksgiving.
November 26, 2005 - Received waitlist letter. Uggh!
February 3, 2006 - I'm in! I received my FedEx today!!! I'm so relieved that I won't have to figure out what to do with a year of my life!
February 6, 2006 - Hand-delivered $100 deposit to the school.
I only applied to OSU-COM, which may seem like putting all my eggs in one basket. However, I am not interested in becoming a M.D. and I do not want to leave Oklahoma. I have visited OSU-COM's facilities two times, and have instantly felt at home both times, so I know this is the school I want to be a member of for the next four years and beyond.
I'm going to be a doctor - WOW! I thought this day would never come. My advice to all you hopefuls out there is to never give up and call the school a lot to make sure they know you are serious about going there.
