Summary of Experience:
Never received II but complete early, doubt I would have actually gotten one at this point (February). Seems like a great school, would have loved to interview, but I would have picked comparable schools in NYC where I've been accepted for personal reasons.
Summary of Experience:
Decision deferred in January to later date. Dean of admissions emailed asking for confirmation that I'd be done with my degree before matriculation. Talk about mixed signals.
Summary of Experience:
Declined my place on waitlist. Really liked this school, and am familiar with the area. Would have considered attending if I received a favorable financial aid package before the decision deadline, but I'm not going to grovel (which they explicitly asked for in the email) for a seat with 3 other acceptances in hand.
Summary of Experience:
Interview day was great. My faculty interviewer was super down to earth and a really really nice person. The students seem to really love it here. Humanities seems to be incorporated heavily, which is great for me personally.
Summary of Experience:
LOVED my interview day here. They set out to impress with their facilities and opportunities. Everybody was approachable and cordial. The students were really awesome, could very easily see myself feeling at home here.
Summary of Experience:
Columbia was impressive on interview day. Really loved this school, am very fortunate to have an outright acceptance. The facilities are beautiful, NY Presbyterian is an amazing system, and Washington Heights is an awesome neighborhood with affordable rent. Hoping financial aid makes this feasible, I'd love to go here.
Summary of Experience:
Loved NYU, so happy to have an acceptance in hand. Location is perfect for personal reasons. Am applying to the 3 year MD program, will update here about that process.
Update: accepted to 3 year in Peds. Unfortunately, will not attend due to more competitive scholarship offer.
