Summary of Experience:
Finally received a secondary from UCLA! Was beginning to give up hope on this one. Turned the secondary around in 24 hours, so hopefully I'll hear some good news soon.
Summary of Experience:
Added this school late because I assumed that I shouldn't apply to SUNY because I'm OOS. However, a friend informed me that their IS bias is not that bad, especially if you can prove some connection to/desire to live in NY, which I have! So, tossing my hat in the ring here.
Looks like the late addition paid off! Invited to interview and so excited to check out this school and NYC!!
Summary of Experience:
My first interview, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I had a great day at Loyola! Extremely friendly and happy students, supportive administration, and beautiful campus and facilities. Interviews were conversational, and I felt they were trying to sell me on the school as much as I was trying to impress them as an applicant.
Placed on post-interview "hold" for re-review throughout the rest of the cycle.
Summary of Experience:
Unbelievably excited about this II!
Interview day here was amazing -- loved our talk with Dean Wofsy, getting to sit in on a lecture with the MS1s, the tour (the view from the anatomy lab!!!), and talking with my interviewers. Don't know how I'm going to handle waiting for decisions to come out around the holidays! Would absolutely be thrilled to get accepted here.
Rejected post-interview and very disappointed. Not sure what happened as my interviews were both really great conversations and I felt like I truly clicked with the school.
Summary of Experience:
First interview invite! So exciting!
Their interview day was great. Dr. Arias is very personable and really makes you feel at ease about the day! They really emphasize that the clinical experiences at Keck are unmatched at any other med school. Hoping for good news in a few weeks!
Summary of Experience:
Really pleasantly surprised by this II! Excited to check out UVA.
Wonderful interview day! They seem very focused on the quality of their education -- great new curriculum, beautiful medical education building, very happy and collaborative students. Charlottesville also seems like a lovely place to spend 4 years. Didn't have any expectations going into this interview but they definitely sold me!
Waitlisted, but I've heard they have some movement in the spring so fingers crossed.
Summary of Experience:
Amazingly excited to interview at Mayo! This is definitely a dream school of mine.
Absolutely blown away by this school on interview day. My interviewers were both such interesting and nice people, I wish I could have talked to them longer! Amazing facilities, faculty, and opportunities, and I honestly think I could see myself loving Rochester, despite the small size and cold winters. Going to be such a long wait until February!
FIRST ACCEPTANCE and to my #1 choice! The longest wait but absolutely worth it in the end :)
