I finally got around to making a profile! My undergrad GPA isn't great, but I'm trying to work with what I've got. Secondaries are exhausting, I recommend to anyone thinking about applying to really consider what schools you could see yourself attending. I consider myself extremely lucky to have as many interviews as I do so early in the process. I'll try to update my profile as things progress...

9/22/05- Accepted to WesternU/COMP for DO class of 2010. Pretty hefty deposit of $1000 required with acceptance of offer...

9/22/05- had a problem with my LOR's and EVMS. they said they would download my letters a MONTH ago. when i emailed to inquire about my status, they said they hadn't received my LOR's?!?!? sent a copy of my earlier correspondence and my application finally became complete the next day. ugh.

9/25/05- getting ready for my week-long tour of the east coast!

10/3/05- unless you're crazy, don't schedule 5 interviews in a row, it's tiring and i'm sure by number 5 my answers started sounding recited just because i'd answered the same questions over and over!!

10/11/05- starting to feel a bit depressed about being on hold at UCI and UCSD. here's to hoping miracles do happen.

10/15/05- starting to get a bit nervous about everything

10/17/05- i've been accepted to SUNY upstate. i must say the people there are super, super nice. Also received acceptance letter from Temple! I'm going to be a doctor!

11/20/05- i've heard from five out of the six schools i've interviewed at and four have been good news! just waiting on NYMC on Dec 15 and VCU whenever they give me a final decision. very excited about the Penn State decision.

1/5/06- interview invites at EVMS and by some huge miracle, UCSD!!!! i am so excited about the interview (and really nervous too).

1/25/06- waitlisted at UCSD. pretty bummed, they must have looked at my GPA and laughed. oh well, maybe there's still hope... come on waitlist movement!!!!

5/15- wow, i didn't realize i hadn't updated in so long. it's the big 5/15 and i've chosen to attend Penn State (go nittany lions!) unless UCSD (please, please!!) chooses to accept me. glad this process is almost over.

6/28- after considering VCU, i decided to stay with PSU for school. as for UCSD, i've moved from the pool to the list...whatever that means! starting to get excited about being in Hershey come August!
