Brief Profile:
I'm mainly doing this to keep a track of my timeline this cycle! A couple of things to note: - MCAT: First and only try during my freshman year in 1/2015, there was no writing section. Disregard the writing score above. - Transcripts and LOR's for both TMDSAS and AMCAS were received before primary submission. - I also applied to UT Rio Grande and UT Dell through TMDSAS, which are new and didn't an option on the drop down menu.
Here is a summary of my stats/ECs:
-Asian Male -Rising junior, expected BS in Chemistry/ BS Math May 2017 (graduating/applying a year early) -MCAT 36 (11BS, 12VR, 13 PS) -cGPA/sGPA 4.0 -1.5 years year ED/ICU/Neurosurgery clinic scribe (ongoing) -Generally strong LOR's (I'm assuming). Letters were from my PI, a neurosurgeon, an orgo prof, a religion prof -Gen Chem/OChem/Biochem tutor on campus; OChem lab TA -MCAT instructor for Kaplan for a summer -1 .5 years doing research in Biochemistry lab with 1 publication - secondary author, 2 poster presentations (ongoing) -President of an campus org devoted to raising money to donate to selected charities (ongoing) -Hospice care volunteer (~100 hours) (ongoing) -~70h volunteering at a homeless shelter - ~40h shadowing family docs, dermatologists
