Summary of Application Experience
7/15/2016 - all secondaries done! SO EXHAUSTING! I managed to do all my secondaries (for 13 schools not including texas) within a two week turnaround, quite proud :) - the only secondaries I have not received are UT austin (dell), northwestern, UCLA, UCSF, mayo arizona, and mayo minnesota - I have already received an interview at Texas A&M! woohoo!!
7/16/2016 - pleasant surprises: mayo requested LORs from me this morning and secondary from UCSF yesterday :) application cycle is full of ups and downs!
7/22/2016 - Lubbock interview invite this morning :) two II invites and not even August?! Blessed.
8/15/2016 - crickets :( going to be a long year..
8/23/2016 -NYMC interview invite! :) it's been a long, silent month...hopefully this means there are more interviews a'coming for me in september!!!
8/24/2016 - Chicago rejection! Oh well
10/12/2016 - quiet September. I am sad and anxious. NYMC was phenomenal. I am praying for more interviews. Especially from Texas.
10/16/2016 - sent a letter of INTEREST to UT Austin this morning. can't hurt can it? :)
11/17/2016 -whoo! been a long month. was accepted on prematch to tech & A&M :) i was unfortunately rejected by NYMC the next day :( - got an interview from DELL!!!!!!!!!!! last week which I am SOOO excited for! cycle is looking up, but still open to and hoping for more interviews!1/28/2017
1/28/2017 - wow, it's been a while! interviewed at dell, loved it, spent most of december anxiously awaiting a prematch phone call - have had a few rejections..surprised with how uncompetitive i've been out of state, and honestly that i didn't get more interviews in state or out of state,,but i am going to be a DOCTOR! and that i'm so so happy about :) - match day in 3 days..so nervous. ranked dell 1, tech 2, a&m 3. we shall see!
Summary of Experience:
Secondary received 6/20/2016 Deeply enjoyed the interview experience here and the student body. Might prefer the 2 year pre-clinical curriculum. Additionally liked the campus and felt much more at home at this school.
