Summary of Application Experience
Overall, very successful. Especially considering my poor (by MD/PhD standards) performance on the MCAT. I assume it helps that my MCAT was the first test date of MCAT2015 and there's not much admissions committees can make of it just yet.
MD apps won't let me put MCAT2015 scores, but: Bio/Biochem 128, Chem/physics 127, verbal 127, psych/socio 125
Summary of Experience:
Not sure why I got rejected so quickly since I'm In-State, but the MD/PhD program may not care about that and cared about my low MCAT instead.
Summary of Experience:
Got the interview invite very late and simply wasn't as passionate about the school and going on ANOTHER interview, so I withdrew.
Summary of Experience:
I really enjoyed my interview experience at Albert Einstein. Very smart group of students but only connected with a few of them while I was there. Labs are productive but looked a bit run down. Overall didn't seem to be a good fit for me - too cold!
Summary of Experience:
Only applied here because it's close to where I grew up. I ended up withdrawing because I had a bad experience with an interviewer who insulted me regarding several points of my application. And it's too cold up here. Overall it's a growing program that has promise. Wasn't a fan of it this cycle at least though
Summary of Experience:
Really fell in Love with Pittsburgh when I was at my interview. Rose to one of my top choices but then I got rejected by the MSTP pretty quickly post interview. Ended up on their MD top tier waitlist though.

Summary of Experience:
Really liked this program, but once I was wait listed I decided it probably wasn't worth staying on it since I got accepted somewhere I liked more
Summary of Experience:
Attended MD interview and was accepted. Invited to MD/PhD interview later and withdrew. Great school, but lack of funding and reputation precluded the decision to withdraw early.
Summary of Experience:
Great medical school, but MD/PhD program seemed to be an after thought. Withdrew once I got into Baylor. Took forever to get tuition deposit refunded!
