Summary of Application Experience
Applied to too many top tier schools that I really didn't want to go to, should have just applied to USUHS and DO. Patience is a virture. Perserverance is the key. Apply to schools you will be happy with. Never let anyone convince you to give up dream. I could never have done it if it hadn't had been for God, and the devoted friends who believed in my ability and God's faithfulness even when I didn't. Whenever I had doubts or wanted to give up, it was God who gave me strength to carry on. It is he who has given me a heart for medicine and serving his people. This is why I pushed through the difficult times. I took a step of faith, applied, and trusted that if God wanted me to get in, then he would get me in. Trust in God, and he will help you. 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord,' Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'
