Summary of Application Experience
Took the MCAT once, in 2014. No writing score.
Nothing particularly spectacular about my activities. Basic hospital volunteering, peer tutoring, shadowing, a summer of lab research (no posters or publications or anything). Involvement also in some psych research which pertained to health care and non-clinical volunteering at an "emergency daycare." Extensive clinical experience through scribing, both in the emergency department and a primary care office.
Submitted most of my secondaries early-mid August.

Placed on "continue to review" status 10/20. I thought my application fit well with the school and I'm an IS applicant so a little surprised.
Summary of Experience:
Matriculating at Pitt in August and couldn't be happier to have the chance to come home and train at this great institution.
Accepted! So, so happy. Will likely be matriculating here.
I knew Pitt starts sending out interviews early, so tried to submit this secondary as soon as possible after I was verified. It paid off since I heard back within two weeks. Pittsburgh is my home town, I loved the interview day and would love to go here. January 29th can't come soon enough!
Summary of Experience:
Their response turnaround time is incredible!! Really appreciate the same-week decision after interview. Liked the curriculum a lot and everyone, including my taxi drivers, was incredibly friendly.
Summary of Experience:
Wow. Some decisions to make now. I really liked Emory - the school seemed very community oriented and supportive, and Grady would be a great place to train at.
Ultimately withdrew in the face of Pitt acceptance - would definitely consider Emory for residency in the future!
