Summary of Experience:
I was SO torn about attending this interview! It was such an incredible surprise! I intended to go, but also realized that it was highly unlikely I'd go to U Rochester over my current acceptances due to personal reasons as well...
I think I died a little when I withdrew, but it's not fair to go through the process and take someone else's spot when it's unlikely I'd be able to go.
Summary of Experience:
I was surprised and really excited to get an interview invite here in January. Unfortunately, I knew that there would be a slim chance I would attend this school over my current acceptances, and thought my interview spot should go to someone who needed/wanted it more than I did.
Summary of Experience:
Was probably one of the best interview experiences I had this cycle. I was just really impressed with the school/campus/everything from the moment I showed up. This was also probably the toughest interview I had, with a lot of curveball questions. I know I would have been really really happy here, and had I not have had other familial obligations, U Miami probably would have been my top choice school. But since I'm WL-ed, it seems the decision is made for me :P
Summary of Experience:
Interview was a great experience. Staff and faculty were really nice, and I had a really homey, laid-back feel of the school. I knew going in that it would probably be pretty tough for me to get accepted here, but I'm still honored to have a chance to interview here! My actual interview with both faculty and student were really laid back, and very enjoyable.
Unfortunately, it seems like UCI has had minimal WL movement in the past years, so I'm not expecting anything.
Summary of Experience:
They had really, really good food at the interview. Students were very excited about the place, but the interview format definitely turned me off. It was 3 students at one time in a traditional interview, which lead to interviewees clamoring over each other to talk, and then an MMI portion. This was also my first MMI.
Summary of Experience:
This was my first interview, and was a really wonderful experience. I thought georgetown and the area was really beautiful, and I had a really pleasant interview experience. Not to mention, the lunch was great and the talks given in the morning very encouraging. I really think I would have been happy here
I decided to withdraw also because of COA and also personal reasons after being accepted to a school closer to family.
Summary of Experience:
I was really impressed with BU as an institution and school. They have so many resources and opportunities for their students, and seem to do a good job with supporting their students. Students also seem really happy there, and I had a pretty pleasant interview.
Unfortunately, I ended up with a WL offer, and the sheer COA and the fact that I liked the school, but not the city made me withdraw my app.
Summary of Experience:
My first acceptance, and also one of my most memorable interview experiences. I loved the feel of the school, and the camaraderie of the students. I also loved the mission of helping the underserved and primary care.
My interviewers were amazing and I had some of my most memorable interviews there. I knew this school would be a great fit, and I know I'd be really happy there as well.
Summary of Experience:
I had a blast at this interview! There was a lot of group work and we got to know many of the students. Definitely could have seen myself at this school...and before my Loma Linda acceptance, was very torn about choosing this school vs a far away MD school. That's how much I liked this school.
Summary of Experience:
I withdrew once I got my Western COMP acceptance. I actually kind of liked the area/island of the school, but didn't feel like the best fit with the school.
Summary of Experience:
Most likely matriculating here! I had a wonderful interview experience (although it took place only a few days after the San Bernardino Shooting!). I've been doing research here as a pre-med for 2 years, so I was already familiar with the campus and some of the faculty. The interview only confirmed how nice and supportive everyone is. The students all looked really happy to be there, and the staff/faculty are genuinely nice people.
I talked about cooking with one of my interviewers for quite a long time, and told him about some of my favorite vegetarian dishes to cook (since I'm an avid meat eater that's trying to eat more vegetables..). Anyway, I'm super excited to be going here in the fall :)
