// Applications //
Application Cycle One: 07/14/2015
Undergraduate college: University of California
Undergraduate Area of study: Biological/Life Sciences
Summary of Experience:
My first post-secondary rejection. First rejected for undergrad and now medical school, not sure what San Diego has against me :)
Summary of Experience:
Ouch, I have to see the campus everyday on my way to work. Wasn't a huge fan of the school, but I do love the city of SF though so it is sad to have to leave.
Very excited to get this II! No flights to book :)
Summary of Experience:
Two big take-aways from my UofC interview: 1. Chicago is an awesome city. 2. The students love (really love) their school, and they probably demonstrated it more than anywhere else I have seen (big plus in my eyes, it was this same experience which convinced me to pick my undergrad university)
Summary of Experience:
Can't believe how fast the II came! Wow so excited! I also submitted the secondary over a month after I received it so that goes to show you how much faith you can put in the "2 week" rule.
Post II: This school just shifted to one of my absolute top choices, what an amazing place.
Summary of Experience:
II: Very happy! Post-interview: My favorite interview yet. I think I have gotten more practice now and my interviews skills have become sharper. It was certainly the most relaxed interview day so far.
Summary of Experience:
My first II ever! Wooooooooo!
Post-II: The facilities were very impressive, and the city looks beautiful (from up high), the only issue I had was when you get out of the towering buildings and down onto the street and experience the real nature of the area. It was one of the only things that stopped me from being 100% enthusiastic about this school. The administration and the students seemed great, and my interview was the definition of conversational and casual.
Acceptance: My first interview and my first (and only pre-April30th) acceptance! Also got the Dean's Scholarship which is amazing. Thank you Boston for being so responsive and welcoming!
