Summary of Application Experience
08/14: Was kind of hoping to have an II by now... is it time to panic yet?! 09/15: Dartmouth interview earlier this month, and a UMass II just now. Feeling a bit better. Didn't stop me from adding three more schools this morning, but that was before the UMass II. (I think doing so makes me feel like I have a modicum of control in this process =P ) 10/20: Three interviews in two weeks... well that was exhausting. Glad to have a bit of a breather before Maryland next month. Each interview seems to get easier and easier once you get into a rhythm! Still hoping for some love from some of my top choices, but am feeling a lot better now that 'statistically' my chances of getting an acceptance with 5 Interviews is fairly high. Starting to learn what I really want in a school, which is both good and bad depending on how decisions turn out. 11/11: Officially going to be a doctor as of a few weeks ago! Getting an acceptance was so emotional- years of waiting and uncertainty instantly replaced with relief! Two more interviews scheduled for the next few weeks and still waiting to hear from 10+ schools (I'd say 5 of them are still realistic at this point... I'm remaining hopeful for my top choice to realize how perfect we are for each other... but even if that doesn't happen, I have a GREAT option in Milwaukee!). 1/12: Three acceptances... oh my goodness. The relief I felt after MCW was intense... now I'm just so EXCITED to see all of these years of stress and worry finally paying off. The personal phone call from Maryland was a nice touch!!

Pre Secondary- long shot, oh well!
Summary of Experience:
LOR request 8/11! Was part of the last round of rejections- it's nice knowing that I was within the top 300-400 applicants or so, but I was still so hoping for an II.
Summary of Experience:
State school, currently employed there (also have previous employments/affiliations). MMI was a little stressful, especially compared to Albany's. Half of the prompts were kind of meh, and a few raters were tough. But overall very impressed with the school's facilities, curriculum, and program.
Summary of Experience:
II!! The interview propelled this school to the top of my list. Loved the community feel and was fairly impressed by DHMC. The medical school facilities themselves leave a little to be desired, but the quality of the education and community more than makes up for it IMHO. Crossing my fingers for an acceptance.
Summary of Experience:
I think this was my best interview yet... felt super comfortable with Admissions, the students, and the faculty that I met. Really impressed with the program, which isn't necessarily unique or flashy but very well done. Excited about the psychiatry track! Just excited about this school in general. I think it would be a great fit!
Accepted 12/2 after UC 11/9!!! Didn't fall in love with the school, but could definitely see myself there. The facilities (save the simulation center, which was great) are a little outdated, but that's not to say the education and experience will be. Definitely would allow for diverse experiences. Love the way they do anatomy lab for first years. Overall, not a top choice, but I think I would be happy here if things turned out that way!
Additional info tab ~ 1/23 and packet arrived a week later! Very impressed with this school. Amazing global health opportunities and, despite its VERY rural location, interesting patient population with plenty of educational opportunities. Add this to the top of my list!
So STOKED to visit beer city! Have a good feeling about this school.
Interview was very well run- however there were a couple red flags for me personally that make me question how well I would fit here. We'll see how it turns out!
