I used my experience here as a memorable experience.

Work Experience (non-clinical): Over 6,000 hours over 4 years of undergrad-All at restaurants
Work Experience (clinical): Worked full time as a surgical assistant for a dermatologist/Mohs surgeon. I eventually was promoted to a leadership position and got so much out of my experience. My PS is all about it. This is also a memorable experience. Over 2200 hours.

Non-clinical Volunteering-Over 500 hours-various university events and community service around Nashville

Clinical Volunteering-80 hours working at the Chest Pain Network at a Hospital.

Leadership-Over 300 hours as a member of SGA, Freshman Orientation Leader, Campus recruiter, and various other positions in my fraternity

Teaching-Over 200 hours working as an academic mentor for members of my fraternity as well as AED, the pre-med honors society.

Shadowing-Over 100 hours shadowing a pediatric orthopedic surgeon as well as a dermatologist. Planning to add more primary care shadowing during this app cycle.

Miscellaneous Experiences:
I ran a marathon in 2012. Over 200 hours of training.
I performed as a member of a Drum Corps International Drum Corps and performed in front of thousands nightly during the summer. I was a part of this for 4 summers. During this time, I spent time teaching a high school marching band. After I was too old to perform, I taught a drum corps that got 7th place at the World Championships.
I have over 4000 hours accrued.

This is my 3rd memorable experience as I relate the practice and teaching of music to medicine.
