Summary of Application Experience
(I don't actually have a writing score)
Also applied to UT Austin and interviewed there (can't find it in the drop down menu). UT Austin offers an amazing opportunity to start something new. The interview format was pretty brutal, with 5 MMIs, a group exercise, and 2 25-minute one-on-one interviews. However, there were lots of breaks, and the information session at the beginning was helpful. Update: I got into UT Austin!!! Can't believe I might be one of just five out-of-state students in the first class. Update 2: Withdrew after UT Southwestern acceptance.
TMDSAS submitted 6/11/2015 and verified 6/30/2015
For AMCAS schools, "submitted" date is when I submitted the secondary, and "secondary complete" is when my application was marked complete by the school.

Summary of Experience:
9/12/2015 Still haven't received the secondary :(
Rejected pre-secondary at the beginning of November.
Summary of Experience:
I received the secondary and looked into the program in more detail (I initially added it to my list just because it is a well-ranked school). The school's program, activities, and student videos just didn't resonate with me like other schools do, so I decided not to submit this school's secondary.
Summary of Experience:
UW interview day was great. We got to attend MS1 and MS2 classes. The new curriculum seems to have some issues, but the school is listening to feedback from students and improving the curriculum as they go. Lots of opportunities to serve the community, especially with the WWAMI program. WWAMI is super exciting, 6 months away from Seattle seems like a lot, but working with underserved populations in 5 different states is an amazing opportunity.
Summary of Experience:
Everybody at UT Houston was so incredibly nice, I had a smile on my face all day. The interviews were very laid back, no trick questions, just nice conversation. We got to see heart surgery from a gallery, and visited the Life Flight helipad, in addition to all the typical medical center tour spots. Very cool first interview day overall.
Summary of Experience:
The whole interview program was great. The social was super helpful and I was able to ask all of my questions to different students (MS3s and MS4s). My student host was incredibly nice and answered even more questions (MS1). Interview day was incredibly informative. My first interview was more conversational, and the second was a list of "tough" questions. The school was way bigger than I expected, there are multiple hospitals, and the campus is very pleasant. Galveston is a very small community, with quite a few touristy things to do. Students were very friendly.
Summary of Experience:
The students at UT Southwestern are amazing. The other interviewees were awesome as well. They do a fair amount of community service, the clinical years are top notch, overall an amazing school.
<3 <3 <3 please accept me...
Yaaaayyyy got into my favorite school. Just moved to Dallas and I'm loving it so far (except for the major shootout 2 days ago).
Summary of Experience:
Tufts provides a lot of info on its interview day. They had a financial aid info session, which was enlightening. A big downside of Tufts is that it's expensive. However the students were great, they do a lot of community service, the curriculum seems great.
