Summary of Application Experience
August MCATer, so started process late. Posted GPA is according to AMCAS. My AACOMAS GPA is 3.33 sci/3.41 overall. Complete at all M.D. schools by December NEOUCOM only MD to offer interview, interviewed 1/28/05 and am waiting for a decision. Applied to DO schools late because needed DO recommendation. Turns out that was a huge waste of time, since she didn't even send out the LORs till Feb. 1st when I requested them before Thanksgiving. Didn't seem to matter since Ohio University (D.O.) accepted me with only an MD recommendation. Was complete at most DO schools by late Jan., early Feb. My best advice is to APPLY EARLY. I don't know if I would've had more options, but it sure would've been nice to have this all done months ago!
