Summary of Experience:
Never heard from Emory the whole cycle, just to hear that their interview season closed. A bit surprised...since I had a minor in Public Health and strong PH extracurriculars. But, they do receive a TON of apps, so I understand why they can't exactly invite every passionate PH student for an interview.
Summary of Experience:
The admissions office was very warm and accommodating. I stayed with a student host who was very friendly and helpful too. Student tour guides were fun and even joked, "You guys can ask whatever questions you want, we aren't 'admissions spys'."
I was a bit nervous since it was my first interview, but I ended up interviewing with a pediatrician in Jacobi who was pretty down to earth and approachable. Thought the interview went well, but I ended up getting waitlisted. Really liked the school, the Orthodox Jewish element didn't really stick out too much, partially b/c I'm Jewish...but also because I didn't see it as a major element of the school.
Withdrew 2/19/2015 because of Sinai and OSU acceptance.
