Summary of Experience:
Found their rejection email to be extremely rude - helps soften the blow of the rejection from one of my top choices going into the cycle.
It was a pipe dream anyways, but darn, Penn, you cold.
Summary of Experience:
Received email asking about interview interest - at this point in the cycle, I would not choose Einstein over current acceptances and wouldn't want to live in NYC over current options.
Summary of Experience:
High OOS tuition and a depleted bank account after a busy interview. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to withdraw -- it was hard though, as I'd love to live in Denver! Just can't justify hotel + flight for a school that costs significantly more than my current options.
Summary of Experience:
UPDATE: Withdrew prior to traffic day. Given other acceptances and waitlist positions, I knew I wouldn't be making the move out to Hanover.
SUPER rural. But surprisingly, I loved it. This group of interviewees may have been the group I was saddest to leave at the end of the day, which speaks volumes. Not sure if I could get over living that remotely, however beautiful it was.
Summary of Experience:
Update: Accepted off the waitlist at my one-time dream school. However, given how late it is, I'll be matriculating elsewhere. See you for residency, Oregon!
Top choice since forever. As a native Oregonian, I want this one SO BAD.
I hate MMI and didn't feel the best about it. Trying to stay positive and hope for the best!
Summary of Experience:
BEAUTIFUL school. The facilities are incredible and it seems like such a supportive, collaborative environment. Exceeded my expectations.
Withdrew post-acceptance. Great school, but felt more at home elsewhere.
Summary of Experience:
Update: Hard to let go of Jefferson. This was my first interview, and first acceptance, but moving to the east coast is the wrong choice for my fiance and I.
ACCEPTED!!!! First interview, first acceptance.
What an impressive interview date. I'd be thrilled to attend.
